Caring for our Older Generation
As societies around the world continue to age, the need for effective and compassionate care for older adults is growing. Older adults may face a range of challenges related to physical health, cognitive function, social isolation, and more. At the same time, older adults have valuable life experiences and contributions that can enrich our communities and families. In this session, we will explore ways to provide high-quality care and support for older adults, while also addressing the needs and concerns of caregivers and family members.
We will discuss innovative models of care, ways to promote social connections and engagement, and strategies for navigating the healthcare system. By the end of this session, we hope to have generated a range of practical and actionable ideas that can help to improve the lives of older adults and those who care for them.
